The reported winner

Race-day coverage names Shandian, meaning Lightning, from Team Monkey King as the winner in 50 minutes 26 seconds. The next-day E-Town report identifies the team as HONOR's and describes that figure as net time. The race took place on 19 April 2026. [1] [2]

Those results show a much shorter reported winning time in 2026. They do not isolate the effect of the hardware, software, route or timing rules.

Remote control had a scoring multiplier

The 2026 organizer rules describe autonomous navigation and remote-control entries sharing a ranking. Remote-control entries had their net time multiplied by 1.2. Autonomous entries could receive necessary human intervention in specified safety or fault situations after referee confirmation. [3]

The course had seven support and emergency stations. Battery and robot replacement were addressed by the rules, including penalties for particular actions. A finishing time therefore needs its category and penalty record attached. [3]

Then add course layout, control category, timing basis, penalties, falls and battery changes. Leave missing fields blank. A ratio of the two times would mix these conditions, so it should not be presented as a measured gain for one unchanged robot.

How the course and timing were recorded

The race-day account gives a 21.0975 kilometre route from Kechuang 17th Street to Nanhaizi Park. It describes more than ten terrain types, including slopes, curves and narrow sections. [1] [2]

Robots started at 30 second intervals. The account describes RFID and pressure-mat timing at the start, checkpoints, finish and designated access points, with accompanying referees recording rule violations and replacement penalties. [1] [2]

A full winner scorecard is still needed to reconstruct every intervention and penalty. The reports do not establish that the winning run used a single battery. [1] [2]

Evidence limits

  • The cited recap does not reproduce the winner’s final control-category and penalty scorecard.
  • The reported finish time does not establish an uninterrupted run or a single-battery duration.
